In your role as Senior Engineer at LANGTREES you will have responsibility for undertaking and managing civil engineering consulting tasks from the definition of client requirements, task planning, monitoring and control of scope. Your responsibilities will include:

• Design of Roadworks to Austroads standards (Highways, Traffic Management).

• Earthworks and pavement designs.

• Erosion and sediment control designs.

• Water quality and design of stormwater drainage.

• Land Development.

• Undertake inspections and certifications.

• Fee Proposals and tenders.

• Preparing technical specifications, schedules and estimates.

• Generate Authority Approvals.

• Coordinate project resources to deliver work on time, budget and quality.

• Manage client relations, liaise with local councils, clients and project managers.

• Actively promote a culture of excellence in customer service to ensure optimal delivery of projects to clients.

• Mentoring and coaching of more junior team members including engineers and designers.

• Undertake projects and tasks while working to tight deadlines or as set by stakeholders and clients.

• Ability to operate across multi-disciplined project teams while managing project cost, budget, timeline and deliverables.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE. 

• Degree qualification in Civil Engineering.

• Minimum 5 years Civil Design Engineering experience.

• Strong technical skills and a solutions-driven mentality.

• Experience with DRAINS, MUSIC, Civil3D/AutoCAD.

• Current QLD Drivers Licence.

• Working towards RPEQ status.

• Experience in civil design works for urban development including building projects, subdivision, roads, pavements and public domain areas. 

• Design management, providing technical design supervision, managing scope and deliverables, review processes for multi-discipline projects.

• Understanding of the latest industry practices, proprietary products, and their application.

• Experience producing technical reports and developing concepts. 

• Strong project management capabilities and resource management.
